As a Client Services Coordinator at Croatia Navigator, you will support our internal team by helping prepare client-facing application materials used in Croatian citizenship by descent cases. Your work will involve reviewing personal and civil documents, organizing information clearly, preparing supporting materials, and helping transform raw client records into polished, submission-ready materials. This role includes a mix of document review, drafting, translation, and administrative coordination. You may help create family trees and other genealogical materials, prepare unofficial translations from English to Croatian, review vital records for discrepancies, and compile forms and supporting documents used in applications submitted to the Croatian Ministry of the Interior (MUP).
You will work with a small, friendly team that includes Croatian professionals and colleagues based in Croatia and the United States. The role is fully remote and collaborative, and our team works entirely in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Sheets) rather than Microsoft Office. This is a strong opportunity for a careful, curious, and organized person who enjoys meaningful, detail-oriented work.
Develop genealogical documentation using graphic software, including family trees and related visual materials.
Create unofficial, non-court-certified translations of client documents from English to Croatian.
Review and consolidate vital records submitted by clients, including birth, death, and marriage records, and identify discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Prepare client CVs and motivational letters in the format needed for Croatian citizenship applications.
Compile multi-page forms (obrazac) and related application materials based on English-language source information.
Work within Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Sheets) to review and organize materials.
Have strong attention to detail and enjoy careful, precise work.
Are willing to learn and comfortable working with new processes and document types.
Have a strong sense of curiosity and like understanding how documents connect across generations.
Think critically and can spot inconsistencies, missing details, or information that needs follow-up.
Write and speak English well and are comfortable working with English-language records and instructions.
Is reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Can handle sensitive personal documentation with care and professionalism.
Is able to review documents closely and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
Communicates clearly with internal team members when questions or discrepancies arise.
Is interested in developing practical skills related to genealogy, documentation, translation, and international client support.
